Cutcher & Neale’s traineeship program is designed to allow students to study while gaining valuable practical skills through working in a chartered accounting and consulting environment.
There is only so much you can learn from a text book. The rest must be learned by experience. At Cutcher & Neale, we are able to maximise the hands on learning experience for our trainees. We have talented Client Service Managers with a broad range of client and industry experience.
Students are required to complete four years of study in the Bachelor of Commerce Program.
During university semesters traineeship students are to:
- Enrol in 3 courses per semester with 1 day per week (unpaid) allocated to full-time study
- Work 4 days per week for Cutcher & Neale
- Receive 3 weeks a year paid leave for full time study and to sit for examinations
During semester breaks students will work a full 5 day week and be eligible for annual leave and sick leave in accordance with the NSW Clerks Award.
Cutcher & Neale traineeship students receive remuneration based on the NSW Clerks Award depending on their age. Subsequent wage increases will be based on performance.
HSC results will be a differentiating factor along with the demonstration of leadership skills, inventiveness, motivation, aptitude, communication skills and the potential to make a contribution to the accounting/finance profession.
