Revenue NSW has given all payroll tax clients the option of deferring their payroll tax payments until 14 January 2022.
The 2020/21 annual reconciliation is now due for lodgement by 14 January 2022. Payments can be deferred on monthly liabilities for July 2021 through to December 2021 until 14 January 2022.
Businesses eligible for the 2021 COVID-19 Business Grant or JobSaver with group Australian wages for the 2022 financial year of $10 million or less will have their payroll tax liability reduced by 50% on their Annual Reconciliation.
