Drawing on years of experience, Stuart enjoys explaining and implementing wealth creation strategies such as effective tax structuring and debt reduction whilst not losing sight of the important objective of protecting those hard earnt assets.

Stuart takes a holistic approach with his clients allowing him to consider many aspects of clients' finances including their practice/business arrangements, investment strategies and retirement planning (including superannuation) and family considerations.

Stuart has been with Cutcher & Neale since 2009 and is a Partner of our Specialist Medical Services division, providing specialised accounting and financial services to both medical and dental professionals, in addition to providing specialist advisory services to private clients and businesses.

Providing clients with appropriate and competitive loan structures is Dean’s focus. Dean collaborates with the client and their accountant or advisor to ensure outcomes meet with expectations.

Dean’s background in financial services includes around twelve years in Private Banking in Sydney and Newcastle which involved managing the lending & wealth requirements of high net worth individuals & families.

Dean’s experience enables Cutcher & Neale Finance to establish an independent, dedicated and specialist approach to our clients ongoing finance requirements.

Scott was the Executive Chairman of TressCox Lawyers for over 4 years. Scott is the National Practice Group Head for Health and has over 29 years’ experience in Health Law, advising a number of major health institutions, in particular the Australian Medical Association (NSW) Ltd, Avant Mutual Group Ltd, Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance, MDA National Insurance Pty Ltd, MIGA, London Insurers and a range of specialist Medical Associations, as well as corporates in the Health sector.

Scott’s expertise and experience includes professional conduct and administrative law matters including HCCC, NSW Medical Council and AHPRA investigations, risk management, business structures and governance, corporatisation of medical practices and advising clients with respect to legislative interpretation and amendment, Coronial Inquests, Medicare investigations, policy advice, and corporate and commercial advice.

Ben is a former Institutional Equities Trader at highly regarded Investment Bank, JPMorgan. Despite his high-level exposure to the equity markets in Asia and around the world, Ben developed a keen interest in the Australian property market. Utilising his analytical skills, he went on to develop a substantial portfolio through his own renovations and developments. 

It was this success in the Australian property market that eventually led him away from his role as an equities trader to focus solely developing his own portfolio and passion for investment property strategy.

After spending two decades in the general insurance industry, Andrew joined Cutcher & Neale in June 2021 and together they formed iMed Insurance Pty Ltd.

iMed Insurance complements the other financial services offered by Cutcher & Neale to ensure that all their clients financial needs can be dealt with under the one roof.

Andrew specialises in insurance for medical practitioners and medical practices as he has spent 7 years working for one of the Medical Defence Organisations where he had first hand experience dealing with Drs on their medical indemnity insurance. Throughout this time, Andrew regularly presented at various medical schools and hospital organisations across Australia to ensure the current and future Drs of Australia understood their insurances and the varying ways in which it protects their careers.

Through other industry experience, with some of Australia’s largest broking firms and underwriting companies, Andrew can also work with clients on any general insurance matters across any industry. Andrew focusses on the clients needs and understands that insurance can be a confusing product and as such, takes the time to ensure that each client feels educated as to the what and why in their insurance program.

Dr Alexander Lobanov was awarded his medical degree from the University of Melbourne in 2009  and went on to gain his specialist qualification in General Practice whilst serving as a full time Aviation Medical Officer in the Royal Australian Air Force.

Following several deployments and tours to the Middle East, Asia and United Kingdom with the RAAF, Dr Lobanov decided to settle in Newcastle  where he has worked as a GP since 2016.

He is a Director and GP at Hunter Health Hub in Hamilton East and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Dr Stephen Spencer

Dr. Stephen Spencer (PhD) is charity EquiEnergy Youth’s Co-Founder and Clinical Director. He has worked extensively in the areas of acute adult, child and adolescent mental health. Stephen is passionate about the health and well-being of young people. He has made this his life’s work and is recognised as a leader in this field by his peers. His clinical experience includes Paediatric Consultation Liaison Services and Clinical Nurse Education. Stephen has been a Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression (PMVA) trainer since 2006. He is also trained in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for Psychosis in Young People. Stephen is a current member of the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses.

He is also Clinical Director and Co-Founder of Rest in Essence where he provides clinical mental health support in the community. He works with both young people and adults in a community health setting and for the past two years the Rest in Essence team have provided clinical mental health support for the Newcastle Knights, including all players from the NRL squad down to the junior teams, and the staff. The experience of working with an elite organisation has expanded Steve’s interest in understanding the link between enhancing employee wellbeing, driving a positive organisational culture, and team and individual performance outcomes.

Brad is Cutcher & Neale’s in-house risk insurance specialist. He works predominantly with our medical clients assessing their personal financial risks should they become ill, injured or deceased then recommends and implements appropriate insurance policies. These include trauma cover, income protection, total & permanent disability cover, death cover and business expense cover. 

Where there is a business structure to be considered, Brad also advises on buy/sell, debut protection and key person insurance requirements.
