Belinda began her career at Cutcher & Neale at just 17, joining the accounting and tax team through a traineeship. While completing her studies, she quickly progressed into client management and went on to achieve her Chartered Accountant designation, gaining invaluable experience and guidance from the firm’s Partners and leaders.
After more than 10 years with Cutcher & Neale, Belinda explored the commercial side of accounting with a contract role in local government, followed by five years at another firm. These experiences broadened her perspective but also reinforced her passion for professional services and working closely with clients. She ultimately returned to Cutcher & Neale, bringing with her fresh insights and a renewed commitment to her career.
Belinda was first drawn to accounting in high school, influenced by her parents’ small business and their relationship with their accountant. Today, she continues to value those client connections, describing it as a privilege to work alongside individuals and businesses on their goals. She is known for her honest, genuine, and considered approach, always ensuring clients understand the “why” behind the strategies and guidance she provides. By regularly revisiting client goals, Belinda helps ensure they remain on track and feel confident in their financial journey.
