Catherine Parker began her career in superannuation in 2004, working for a large industry super fund administrator shortly after finishing high school. The experience sparked her interest in super and accounting, leading her to commence a Commerce degree while continuing to work in the industry. During this time, she moved into the firm’s SMSF division, where she discovered her passion for self-managed super funds and retirement planning.
In 2012, Catherine joined Cutcher & Neale, initially working in the Super Division and then moved to Medico Division where she broadened her understanding of client needs and circumstances. Ultimately, her interest in superannuation and retirement planning drew her back to the Super Division, where she has focused her expertise for the past eight years. In recognition of her dedication and knowledge, Catherine was appointed Associate in 2021.
Catherine is known for being approachable and caring, taking the time to educate clients on the aspects of superannuation they want to understand while giving them confidence that the details are in safe hands. She finds it especially rewarding to provide clarity to clients approaching retirement, helping them see that their years of hard work are leading them toward the comfortable retirement they deserve.
Outside of work, Catherine enjoys staying active, her favourite pastimes include long walks by the water and weightlifting.
