Matt Hickey has over 26 years of experience in accounting and financial services, beginning his career in industry accounting with BHP in 1995 before spending a few years in public practice with sole practitioners. He joined BBB Partners in 1999 and became a Partner in 2009, playing a key role in growing the firm and mentoring the next generation of professionals.
Matt helps clients gain comfort and clarity by sharing his extensive experience and real-world examples, guiding medical professionals from their early careers as interns to retirement. Known for his enthusiastic, caring, and personal approach, he is committed to ensuring clients feel supported throughout their financial journey.
Outside work, Matt is an accomplished endurance athlete, having completed an Ironman at the age of 42.
