Nick Carter began his career with the firm in 2005, starting as a trainee after gaining early experience in IT support and data migration. With a strong family influence in accounting, Nick was always drawn to the profession.
Over the years, Nick has held a variety of roles and in 2017 joined the Specialist Medical Services Division, where he has played a pivotal role in supporting clients in the medical profession. In 2018, he took on the responsibility of growing the firm’s wealthstart client base, a program designed to guide early-career doctors through the financial decisions that shape their future. His leadership in this area saw the client base grow to more than 200, a milestone Nick counts as one of his proudest achievements.
Appointed Associate in 2023 and Partner in 2025, Nick is proud to serve as a custodian of the firm’s values and reputation. Known by colleagues and clients as motivated, analytical, and trustworthy, he is dedicated to helping clients find confidence and clarity in their financial journey.
Outside of work, Nick is a keen sports enthusiast. A life member of Newcastle University Rugby Union Club, he now channels his energy into maintaining fitness and pursuing triathlons, including multiple appearances at the Noosa Triathlon.
