Peter Bye’s career in accounting began in 1979 with the Australian Taxation Office before he moved into public practice with Bongiorno & Partners. After 14 years there, he progressed to director level before co-founding Barrett Baxter Bye (now BBB Partners) in 1993 alongside Tim Barrett and Trevor Baxter. For more than 32 years, Peter has been a Partner at BBB, playing a pivotal role in its growth into a successful and highly regarded firm.
Peter’s client relationships span decades, with many clients having entrusted him with their financial affairs for up to 40 years. This trust is a reflection of his attentive, proactive, and empathetic approach, which provides clients with confidence and clarity in their financial journey.
A career highlight for Peter has been contributing to the establishment and development of BBB Partners into the respected business it is today.
Outside of work, Peter is a passionate sports enthusiast with a particular love for horse racing.
