Ryan McCann began his accounting career in 1998 at PKF in the Business Services division before joining BBB Partners in July 2000, coincidentally on the first day of GST. With a natural love of numbers and inspired by his father, who was also an accountant, Ryan quickly found his footing in the profession and went on to become a Partner in 2013.
With over 25 years of experience, Ryan has developed deep expertise advising medical professionals, many of whom have been his clients since graduating. He focuses on building genuine relationships and educating clients as part of the advisory process, ensuring they understand the reasoning behind the advice they receive. This approach has earned him long-term trust and loyalty from his client base.
A career highlight for Ryan has been building a strong client base through BBB’s Young Doctor program, where he has delivered countless presentations and successfully competed with other firms in Melbourne’s competitive market. Clients and colleagues describe him as trustworthy, personal, and fair.
Outside of work, Ryan is the eldest of eight children, is married with four boys, and has spent more than a decade coaching junior AFL teams, combining his love of family, sport, and mentoring.
