Stefan Bavolyar has been part of the firm’s journey for over 14 years, beginning his career with BBB Partners (now part of the Cutcher & Neale group) while completing a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting.
Starting in the Self-Managed Super Fund team in a part-time role, Stefan built his technical capability from the ground up, progressing from administrative support to preparing financial statements and tax returns as his studies advanced. After a period of overseas travel, he returned to Melbourne and transitioned into a full-time role, continuing to grow his experience and client base within the firm.
Accounting is more than a profession for Stefan, it’s a path influenced by family. Following in the footsteps of his father, one of the original partners at BBB Partners, Stefan developed an early appreciation for the value of strong client relationships. Today, he carries that same focus into his own work, prioritising trust, consistency, and long-term partnerships.
Stefan is known for his ability to simplify complex financial matters and provide clients with clear, practical guidance. He takes pride in delivering timely advice, helping clients navigate challenges, and showing them what’s possible with the right plan in place. His approach ensures clients feel informed, supported, and confident that their best interests remain the priority.
Throughout his career, Stefan has continued to invest in his professional development, completing postgraduate studies, growing a loyal client base, and presenting at events to connect with and educate prospective clients.
Trusted, genuine, and engaging in his approach, Stefan values building meaningful relationships both within his team and with the clients he supports.
Outside of work, Stefan has a passion for travel. Having visited more than 30 countries, he enjoys exploring new destinations, experiencing local cuisines, and learning about the history and culture of each place, often alongside his family.
