Helping clients to structure their businesses, implement solid financial strategies and achieve their personal goals has always been a passion for Ian, which is evident through his personal and professional approach.
With his experience as a Chartered Accountant spanning over 30 years, Ian has built an array of skills in servicing a diverse client base.
As an advisor to Business, he has a deep understanding of strategic planning, risk management and the implementation of streamlined strategies and processes to bring efficiency into businesses. He is a registered Company Auditor and specialises in both taxation consultancy and superannuation planning.
An accomplished public speaker, Ian often presents at relevant seminars and forums on current issues facing various industry groups. He also sits on a number of company boards, attending board meetings as an advisor on a regular basis.

Investment markets can be complex, but Phil is always looking to provide investment advice that is clear, concise and actionable.
As a Chartered Accountant with merchant banking and treasury experience domestically, as well as the UK and Asia, Phil’s experience and skill set is unique.
With over 30 years’ experience working with high net worth individuals, Phil's passion is seeing his clients live the lives they aspire to. An expert in investment strategies, has seen him work with a breadth of clients at all stages of their lives and careers. This has given Phil a vast experience in guiding a diverse client base to create and secure a prosperous financial future.
Phil has driven innovation within Cutcher & Neale Investment Services with the introduction of international equities over 10 years ago and more recently the implementation of a Managed Discretionary Account regime, to deliver more efficient service to clients.
His approach of listening to clients and their individual motivations and aspirations allows him to really uncover what matters most to them and is highly valued by his clients.
Phil has a strong belief that independent research produces the best investment outcome for clients, which ensures that all of his recommendations are free from any institutional influences or biases.

Mark joined Cutcher & Neale in 1992 and has been a Partner since 2002.
He is a registered company auditor and has extensive experience in financial reporting, external audit, internal control audits, funding acquittals, IT audit and forensic accounting and is responsible for maintaining our audit strategy, compliance, audit templates and quality control systems.
Specialising in the not-for-profit, health services and registered charity sector, Mark leads many of the firms’ audit engagements and assists clients to improve corporate governance, financial reporting and costing systems for government grant funding.
Mark is also a Director of Mercy Services Limited, a ministry of the Sisters of Mercy Australia and PNG, a registered charity and provider of aged care, disability support, community transport and mental health services. Mark's appointment to this Board provides a valuable insight into operational risks and regulatory reforms faced by community organisations.
Mark also presents seminars on topics including financial reporting, regulatory reforms within the NFP sector and risk management.

Jarrod has a passion for fostering partnerships with clients, and takes the time to understand his client’s motivations and goals in order to provide them with tailored advice to help them build and protect their wealth.
Jarrod strives to stay at the forefront of accounting practice through championing innovation, and this dedication saw him awarded Innovative Partner of the Year in the 2019 Xero Awards.
He also developed the ‘At Risk, At Wealth’ concept which offers clients tailored and highly effective wealth creation and preservation strategies. His passion for helping clients to improve their performance through sound financial management led to the development of WealthStart and Australian Medical Benchmarks, which are all aimed to assist medical professionals and practices reach their financial, business and investment goals sooner.
With a niche focus of working with medical practitioners, Jarrod’s expertise has enabled him to guide many of his clients from the initial stages of wealth creation as doctors in training, right through to wealth protection, planning and retirement strategies.
Jarrod is an inspiring presenter, regularly speaking at events for a range of organisations including the Australian Medical Association (NSW), Australian Society of Ophthalmologists and the Australian Association of Practice Management, and a regular contributor to a leading medical industry magazine, NSW Doctor.

Shane joined Cutcher & Neale in January 2005 and became a Partner in July 2012. He works within our Medical and Dental Divisions and has a particular interest in Self Managed Superannuation for our Medical and Dental client base.
Shane is a noted presenter and commentator, regularly speaking at events for a range of industry organisations including the Australian Medical Association (AMA (NSW), the Australian Association of Practice Management (AAPM), Australian Dental Association (ADA), and the SMSF Association.
He has extensive experience with Medical and Dental professionals and has assisted many practitioners in planning and structuring their businesses, improving their financial performance and structuring for business succession.
Forming a collaborative working relationship with clients is a component of the audit process that Nick sees as being essential for understanding his client’s goals, effectively improving their overall business structure and in turn their bottom line. Ensuring that the Board and Management are working towards strategic goals and the business is moving forward.
Nick strongly believes in the value of the audit function for clients and is strongly committed, both personally and with his audit team, to providing extensive feedback and advice in respect to their key systems and controls. Strong controls improves governance and financial reporting throughout the organisation.
His broad experience in the club and hospitality industry and also not for profits, mining and manufacturing, coupled with his strong analytical skills have been invaluable when working with Boards and Management to implement risk management and business improvement strategies.

Jace has always been driven to provide tailored and insightful advice to his clients, seeing him become an integral party in achieving their personal and business goals.
Jace joined the firm in 2005 and has over 20 years' experience in the taxation and business services field. By immersing himself within the industry, he has developed a deep understanding of the financial and operational issues that face businesses and as a result provides tailored solutions to bring the best possible outcome to his clients.
Jace takes a holistic approach, allowing him to plan for all aspects of his clients personal finances including their practice / business, investments and superannuation.

Working closely with his clients to better understand their personal and financial circumstances, Stuart's aim is to help clients achieve their goals. Drawing on years of experience, Stuart enjoys explaining and implementing wealth creation strategies such as effective tax structuring and debt reduction whilst not losing sight of the important objective of protecting those hard earnt assets.
Stuart takes a holistic approach with his clients allowing him to consider many aspects of clients' finances including their practice/business arrangements, investment strategies and retirement planning (including superannuation) and family considerations.
Stuart has been with Cutcher & Neale since 2009 and is a Partner of our Specialist Medical Services division, providing specialised accounting and financial services to both medical and dental professionals, in addition to providing specialist advisory services to private clients and businesses.
He is a regular presenter of training programs for professional organisations including the AMA (NSW), the AAPM and many other associations and medical colleges.

Amber prides herself on taking the time to understand the individual needs and objectives of each and all of her clients, and believes in building long-term client partnerships. She takes a personalised approach in helping her clients grow their businesses and reach their financial goals.
Amber joined Cutcher & Neale in 2003, and has over 20 years’ experience in accounting and financial services. This experience has allowed her to gain a deep understanding of all matters relating to tax, superannuation and finance matters which enables her to be a trusted financial confidante for her clients.

Wade joined the Cutcher & Neale Investment Services division in 2014 and was appointed as Partner in July 2020.
Wade is a Commerce graduate from the University of Newcastle, holds a Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) and is an Accredited Derivatives Adviser.
Wade has over 8 years’ experience working in financial services, across a range of accounting and investment advisory roles.
Wade believes investment portfolios should be built on transparency and flexibility, having direct exposure to share markets, rather than unitised managed funds.
Working closely with his clients to get insight into their unique personal and financial circumstances, Sav's ultimate aim is to help his clients reach their goals. Sav enjoys working in partnership with clients to explain and implement wealth creation strategies such as effective tax structuring and debt reduction whilst not losing sight of the important objective of asset protection.
Drawing on over 30 years of experience, Sav takes a holistic approach with his clients allowing him to consider many aspects of clients' finances including their family, practice/business arrangements, investment strategies and retirement planning (including superannuation).
This experience has allowed him to gain a deep understanding of all matters relating to tax, superannuation and finance matters which enables him to be a trusted financial adviser for his clients.
Each of our Divisions are headed up by a senior member of the team who is responsible for the operational running of the business.
Working closely with the Partners and their teams, their key role is to maintain the high Cutcher & Neale standard of professionalism, technical excellence and client service.

Adam joined the firm in 2006. His expertise as a taxation and business adviser are highly regarded by clients and peers alike.
Adam has extensive experience in business and financial services. He is knowledgeable in all facets of business and taxation advisory and enjoys partnering with small to medium sized businesses to achieve their broader goals.
Adam's ability to interpret and apply complex tax legislation in a practical manner while taking into account the desired commercial outcomes is also valued by his clients.

Kristy's specialities include portfolio management, self managed superannuation and investment advice. She strongly believes in the benefits of integrated advice and actively engages with our internal accountants to deliver a seamless client experience.
Kristy makes herself available to navigate her clients through the risky and complex investment landscape in today's markets. Defining clients' goals and focusing on the immediate challenges is her key to establishing relevant and effective strategies.
Kristy is the firm’s recipient of the Col Cutcher Award in 2020, an award that acknowledges commitment to innovation and progressiveness.
Matt is an Associate heading up our Small to Medium Enterprises division. He has over 15 years’ experience in the taxation and business advisory field assisting clients across a wide range of industries.
Matt enjoys working closely with clients to help them achieve their personal and business goals. He believes in a holistic approach to advising clients which places the client at the centre of everything we do.
Associate Dip Business (Accounting)
Michael joined the firm in 1998. As head of our Business Software & System Solutions division he provides tailored technology solutions on a wide variety of operational systems to SMEs.
Michael has been responsible for the project management of numerous large operational software implementations in the Manufacturing, Jobbing, Services and Wholesale Distribution sectors.
As a recognised expert with a deep understanding of businesses financial systems, Michael's skills have been employed to write detailed reports highlighting areas in which automation and efficiency can be gained and controls tightened. His insights have led to major cost savings and significant productivity improvements for numerous organisations.
Along with his software technical talents, Michael has strong accounting skills. These have been applied on behalf of clients to conduct detailed financial statement reviews in the absence of an internal accountant.
As a proficient data analysis, Michael is able to assess operational processes, integrate systems, combine data flows and provide tailored reporting solutions for key stakeholders.

Nicole is an Associate in our Specialist Medical Services division.
Nicole has been with Cutcher & Neale for over 16 years and has a profound niche in advising our medical professional clients and is focused on developing tactical strategies for our clients to ensure their wealth is protected and secured. Nicole offers clients tailored and highly effective wealth creation and preservation strategies.
Nicole enjoys working closely with her clients to gain insight into their unique personal and financial circumstances, Nicole’s ultimate aim is to help clients reach their goals.
Nicole’s experience has allowed her to gain a deep understanding of all matters relating to superannuation, investment and finance matters which enables her to be a trusted financial adviser for her clients.
Nick joined Cutcher & Neale in 2006. He is committed to helping the legal profession make sense of the dollars in dispute resolution and is highly regarded by our clients.
Whilst he started his career at Deloitte as an auditor, since specialising in forensic accounting Nick has developed a reputation delivering independent opinions to complex issues in an easy to understand manner, whether that be in a written report or in the witness box. Highly regarded in his field, Nick has written technical papers and presented at numerous legal seminars and forums. In April 2013 Nick was appointed to the Administrative Appeals Tribunal as a part-time member with accounting experience.
Nick has a unique ability to identify the significant aspects of the matter in dispute and what is required to be able to form a concluded opinion on those issues. Sometimes that involves considering the issues in the context of the bigger picture and other times it means getting stuck into the detail to find the needle in the haystack that will support his opinion and assist with resolving the dispute.

Sam has been an integral part of the Cutcher & Neale Superannuation team for over 12 years and has been Associate of our Self-Managed Superannuation team since 2016.
Sam believes that with continual changes to Superannuation, it is essential to stay ahead and develop tactical strategies for our clients to ensure their wealth is protected and secured.
With a wealth of knowledge and experience, Sam takes a hands-on, personal approach to ensure our clients have the very best plans in place from the very beginning.
